描述

In 1993, Gallery Trax started at the foot of the Yachachachachuke in Hokumi City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Started by an interior designer Jiro Kimura and two designer Jouko Miyoshi, this gallery has been renovated by a remodeling office of a reclaimed school in the nursery by Kimura himself, and the furniture and objects that were made by Kimura. Trax is not only a location and space, but it also has been displayed by Jun Kada, Tomoo Itaki, Katsuki Omori, Toshiko Kawachi, and even by artists who were still able to show them from the beginning of their career. A gallery where the wind passes through and the light, rather than the so-called white cubes, it seems that the work and space are breathing there, but the space itself was a work of art, but they encapsulated a number of pieces. In 2004 after Kimura has passed the world, Miyoshi continues to protect its place as a gallery and still remains a place where the spirit of a Kimura.

The wooden village moved to Yagatsu, when the Gallery Trax renovation began to create furniture such as chairs and tables made from old wood. In a short period of about 11 years before they died, we have created a variety of furniture and objects full of creativity. Meanwhile, we have also created unique architectures such as the design of Mashiko Starnet. His pieces are left around Trax without fading 20 years after the infestation of the village. In this book, we combine furniture, objects and space creations with the center of Trax from the vast array of photos and materials left by Jiro Kimura. In addition to the text written by Trax, Kyohei Sakaguchi, Ellen, Mille, and Side Core, the image of the garden and rope is also included. This is a gallery called Trax, where Jiro Kimura, and it unlocks the trails of its creation.

When you spend on Trax, you feel that your memory is not about the time you have passed away. Trax is like a stream of spring water, but memory is still quiet
Kyohei Sakaguchi (from the main text)

From the first time I looked in love with my neuro’s furniture and dreamed of sending one of the chairs to France. Each piece of his creation emits a strong presence, and is intuitive rather than modern but conceptualized, and very free-standing appearance.
Ellen Milling (from the body)
