Tassonomica faces how the need for understanding nature has historically shaped our conception of the garden. From their very origin, gardens have always embodied an ideal tension between knowledge and pleasure, resulting in the archetypes of the botanical garden and the garden of pleasure. Botanical Garden was born, specifically, as an actual heuristic instrument to order, classify and preserve living beings by means of spatial separation. Even if humanity has undergone a journey of dematerialization of knowledge, still space is the most powerful instrument for the comprehension of reality.
