Wooden Life is a research project by Justo Díaz and Guillermo Pozo that analyzes the use of engineered wood—primarily CLT and GLT—in 20 recent collective housing projects built in Spain . The participating studios include some of the leading names in contemporary timber architecture in Spain: Peris+Toral, Lacol, Harquitectes, bosch.capdeferro, Cierto Estudio, Roldán + Berengué, and SUMA arquitectura, among others . Wooden Life es una investigación firmada por Justo Díaz y Guillermo Pozo que analiza el uso de la madera técnica —principalmente CLT y GLT— en 20 proyectos recientes de vivienda colectiva construidos en España. El libro incluye, además, ensayos de contexto técnico y entrevistas con los agentes —arquitectos, ingenieros, promotores e industriales— que están impulsando una transformación real en el sector, desde el bosque hasta la ciudad.

Lejos de un enfoque nostálgico o meramente ambiental, el estudio plantea la madera como una solución contemporánea, capaz de responder a los principales desafíos del sector de la edificación: la reducción de emisiones de carbono, la industrialización del proceso constructivo, la necesidad de vivienda asequible y la revitalización del medio rural.
