生態宜居的目標是通過鄉村旅遊發展規劃功能區劃定時，充分考慮鄉村生態建設。本規劃的七大功能區，基本上可以概括為三個方面，一個是民宿群，所有的民宿均以發掘現狀特色建築為主，保持原有風貌基礎上，採取有機更新。結構完整的建築進行保留改造；對具有一定特色，結構相對完整的建築進行改建。
結合時代要求在保護傳承的基礎上創造性轉化、創新性發展，有利於在新時代煥發出鄉風文明的新氣象，進一步豐富和傳承中華優秀傳統文化，進而促使鄉風文明 。
對旅遊產業、旅遊+相關產業的帶動作用實現來促進的。鄉村旅遊的發展最終的受益的還是當地村民，只有通過科學規劃，不斷提升鄉村旅遊發展潛力，實現鄉村旅遊大發展，最終實現生活富裕。

A new period of rural construction has prevailed in China, with numerous professional architects leaving the cities and throwing themselves into countryside buildings. Professor He Wei and his team are among the earliest architects to enter the countryside as they paid constant attention to the practical problems in rural China and have completed a series of remarkable rural planning and renovation projects, highly recognized by the academic communities at home and abroad.

Based on his teaching, research and practice, Professor He presents his thoughts on rural construction in this title, and explores the relationship between architecture and rural construction, the approaches of rural architectural design, and the identity and the attitude of architects in rural areas.
