This monograph collects, for the first time, the main architectural production since its creation in 2001 by the French studio ANMA, based in Paris and directed by Nicolas Michelin.
With a work based mainly on winning architecture competitions, this office has been positioning itself on the French scene as an essential reference in current Gallic architecture, standing out in its aspect of urban transformation and renewal.
The publication collects and develops 22 selected projects , among which the recently completed and brand new Ministry of Defense in Paris , urban redevelopment worksand housing such as the “Bassin à Flot” in Bordeaux or the rehabilitation of the National Library in Strasbourg with its imposing staircase.
Each work is approached based on its “8 themes” , explained in the prologue, and marks a repertoire of solutions and a unique way of approaching a project, whether it is a new plant, rehabilitation or urban planning.
