The BancaStato Swiss Architectural Award recognises and showcases architects under 50 who, with a particular sensitivity to ethical, aesthetic and ecological issues, have made a significant contribution to contemporary architectural culture. In this way it contributes to improving the quality of human life and encouraging debate among the public as well as within the discipline on the role of architecture in today’s society.
