Issue 5, Architecture After Capitalism, aspires to register some of the current issues regarding possible relationships between capitalism, critique, and architecture, but also to provide a working space for the exploration, testing and development of new ideas.
Feature articles include responses by K. Michael Hays, Felicity Scott, Michael Speaks and Sanford Kwinter to an excerpt of Hal Foster’s Design and Crime. Other articles include an in-depth look at the work of Office of Mobile Design, Specht Harpman, Lo-Tek, SOM, Ingallil Wahlroos Architects, Landon Bone Baker, Matias and Mateo Pinto, Hedge, IDEO, and Kazys Vernelis. This issue also includes essays by Nina Rappaport, Martha Rosler, Daniel Abramson, Dan Hoffman and John McMorrough.
