This book is published by Union of Architecture University in Seoul (UAUS), in conjunction with its seventh group exhibition, themed “Seoul Forest, Plants Play”. It is essentially a showcase of designs and strategies to provide people pleasure through architecture. It presents various designs for pavilions and outdoor interventions that anyone can enjoy, with the goal of encouraging people to approach their everyday lives as a framework for play. One example is Seoul Forest, ostensibly a typical garden that includes four unique spaces to increase active public participation. Another is the “Draw-wing” pavilion, which incorporates paper into a game that also maintains a record of visitors.
