The Bauhaus is a household word in architecture worldwide. 100 years after the founding of the Avantgarde School, the principles, beliefs and memories of the Bauhaus are still alive: The Bauhaus is a myth whose legacy also shapes today’s world in many ways. To mark his 100th birthday, Detail opens a poetry album in which 100 architects from different continents congratulate. The birthday volume draws its view of the Bauhaus in short texts, photos and sketches. The result is a colorful album that captures anecdotes, experiences and individual experiences and invites you to smile or think. Instead of a definition, the short statements show to what extent the Bauhaus is also important today.
