Housing and City is a course of residential content and urban vocation. In the exercises proposed in recent years, we wanted to see that the vacuum project, the usual limit of this relationship, was a substantial part of the teaching reflection. A teaching reflection in the final analysis on the urban scale and the city’s training laws. The urban limit acquires special characteristics in the confrontation with the house, since the domestic dimensions are especially adapted to assume the changes of scale that the contact situations entail. This publication aims to address these issues based on the teaching experiences of the last courses of Housing and City, and the collaboration of some of the guests who have participated over the years. An attempt to visualize the complementarity of residential aspects with urban areas around the notion of Limit.
