For the fourth title in the “Emergence” collection, dedicated to young creation, Pyramyd editions wanted to approach the world of architecture. A professional jury chaired by Claude Parent (architect) and composed of Gilles de Bure (journalist), matali crasset (designer) and Francis Rambert (president of the French Institute of Architecture IFA) were invited to select 26 young European architects from the most dynamic agencies of the moment: Beckmann N’thepe in France, Andrès Jaque architectos in Spain and Plot in Denmark among others. A text situates each of the agencies and their work is presented on three or four double pages through which they deliver their approach to us. Intended for both professionals and amateurs, the book is designed as an immersion in architectural creation, each project is the subject of a description which explains the main constraints at the origin of the study and thus gives the keys to appreciate the approach of the architects.
