This second book in the Architectural Tribune Research collection is dedicated to two actions developed by the architect Josep Llinás. The first is the research on Jujol’s Casa Mañach, which will lead to the reconstruction from the existing photographs, first of the shop sign and later of the complete facade. This three-dimensional reconstruction based on the two-dimensional information of the images is applied again during the rehabilitation project process of Building 406 on the Bogotá campus of the National University of Colombia. Llinás bases on a photograph by Perejaume of a baroque altarpiece as a seed that allows him to construct the new forms that are incorporated to the Leopoldo Rother’s building. The translation of this methodology -to which Llinás refers to as Copying what is seen- can be observed through the complete graphic documents of the successive project development reports. The book has a prologue by Ricardo Dara contextualizing the architecture of Rother and the place where Josep Llinás is working, in addition to his relationship with Colombia.
