This volume presents a selection of projects by Architrend, an architecture studio founded in Sicily in 1989 by Gaetano Manganello and Carmelo Tumino. Operating mainly in the public and private, resort and residential sectors, the firm has always adopted a direct, interdisciplinary and minimalist approach in which the context and the needs of the client are the primary concerns. The book is presented by Nicola Leonardi, Director of The Plan, and by Gaetano Manganello and Carmelo Tumino, founders of Architrend. The projects are presented through written text, images, sketches and drawings that provide an in-depth understanding of the entire process, from the initial concept to the construction details.
